Dear TechnoCamp Quest and Starforce parents,
We would like to say THANK YOU for your child’s participation in the 2026 NISD TechnoCamp! It is always a great time when we get to share in their creativity and learning. There are 2 PARTS to the SHOWCASE:
Part 1 - Show & Tell: you will see which activity of their session was your child’s favorite. We encourage you to ask your child questions (examples below) about what they learned or about their favorite part of the camp. This part should take about 25-30 min.
Part 2 - Quick Clean Up: The student will be dismissed to the parent once the teacher checks back in all the supplies the student used during the week.
Example questions for parents to ask their kids during the Show & Tell part of the showcase:
Which activity or challenge was your favorite for the week?
Why did you choose _______________ as your favorite challenge?
What did you do when you had a problem with your project? How did you solve that problem?
How did you like the programming part of your camp?
How do you think this will help you to problem solve in your daily life?
What do you wish you could learn in the future?
Once again – we would like to say THANK YOU for making this program such a HUGE success this summer at NISD!!

Snacks and Lunches Protocols Below!!
Is a snack or lunch provided at NISD TechnoCamps?
No. Please send your child with a snack and a reusable, leak-proof water bottle each day. Campers attending only a half-day session (AM or PM) will only need one snack and one drink. Students enrolled in both an AM and PM camp session should bring two sets of snacks, drinks for the day, and a sack lunch to eat during the lunch period between camps. Please talk to your child about not eating everything they are brining at the first break. Their snacks and lunch will need to last all day. If your camper will be staying all day and bringing lunch, please inform staff during morning check-in. For the safety of all campers, nut-based products are strictly prohibited do to allergies.
