Course Description

Quest Camp includes a game-based experience that combines the physical elements of board games, the digital interface of a video game, and the strategy of escape rooms.  The result is POWERFUL and PURPOSEFUL play.   Through Quest Camp, learners explore, take risks, make decisions, collaborate and grow both individually and as members of teams.

Our first season is set in a post-apocalyptic world where all students have suddenly vanished.  Students must work together to rebuild society and survive the myriad of challenges that lie ahead in their new world. Teachers role-play as an all-knowing Artificial Intelligence robot to assist their students as they embark on the Quest.

Parents/Guardians must walk in and check students in the first day.

What is the Quest Camp System?

Do I need to bring a Quest Kit?

No, NISD will provide Quest kits for students to use at camp.


Does get my child get to keep the Quest kit?

Unfortunately, the Quest kits are for classroom use only. 


Does my child need to have any programming or robotics experience to enroll in this robotics engineering camp?

No, this camp curriculum is designed for students from beginner level to advanced level. Students with no experience will be given an introduction into problem solving and learning through role play and cross curricular activities.


Is a snack or lunch provided at NISD TechnoCamps?

No.  Quest Season 2 is an all day camp.  Please bring enough food for 2 snacks/drinks breaks and a bagged lunch.


My child is not within the age range of this camp. Is this camp appropriate for my child?

The age ranges provided are for informational and guidance purpose only. We feel that parents are the ultimate judge of where their child will comfortable. If parents are uncertain, we encourage parents to call us for appropriate recommendations on placement of their kids.
